Anritsu Remote and Report Tools (ARRT)
Anritsu Remote and Report Tools software suite contains two separate applications that will create two separate icons once the application is installed.
Anritsu Remote Tool:
The Anritsu Remote Tool offers a remote user interface. Users can take full control of the instrument from any remote location using this PC application. The GUI replicates the instrument display on a standard PC and can be used for remote instrument control and results and trace monitoring. The tool enables saving of traces directly to the PC file system where markers and limit lines can be added and adjusted retrospectively. The Anritsu remote tool also supports simulation mode for instances where an actual instrument is not available or if there is no network connection to the instrument. In simulation mode, all functionalities of a real instrument can be depicted on a PC, including recall and display of saved measurements.
Anritsu Report Tool:
The Anritsu Report Tool provides a comprehensive set of reporting capabilities and retains key features of the legacy Line Sweep Tools (LST) while maintaining the familiar theme of the Anritsu Remote Tool. Users can open and convert or modify saved measurements, work with markers and limit lines, import screenshots of traces in PNG and JPEG file formats, and create PDF reports. The Anritsu Report Tool includes the latest cable list, which has over 350 entries. The manufacturer and description for each cable has been added. Users can filter by categories to ease the process of searching cables. Like LST, users can add custom cables and upload the list to their instrument.
IQ Capture and Analysis
PC based IQ analysis software for use with IQ data captured from a Remote Spectrum Analyzer
IQ Signal Master MX280005A Vector Signal Analysis Software provides a comprehensive suite of measurements that deliver post processing and analysis of IQ data files captured on the Remote Spectrum Analyzers. The software is designed to bring together all the essential tools required to capture IQ data files and then gain critical insights into the nature of the captured signals. Modes within the application, support the ability to capture or stream IQ data into the PC memory, perform modulation quality measurements and playback IQ data with high frequency and time resolution.
A file conversion mode allows IQ data captured on the supported analyzers to be converted to the format required for playback using a Vector Signal Generator MG3710E further enhancing the overall capability.
The software is designed for national RF spectrum regulators, security agencies and defense electronics companies who need to gain critical insight into RF signals that have been captured in the field. It is also suitable for organizations that need to monitor and protect RF spectrum from unlicensed operators or unintended sources of interference
IQ Signal Master MX280005A Vector Signal Analysis Software
IQ Data can be captured or streamed to a PC via USB, Ethernet, or PCIe interface using the MA25101A IQ Streaming PCIe kit.
Vision Software
Vision™ is a software application which runs on a PC/laptop using the Windows operating system (Windows 7/8/10/11). It can optionally be used for monitoring, identifying, and locating interference signals.
Vision Monitor
Vision Monitor is the visible user interface for monitoring remote spectrum activity. Measurement data is provided in a variety of formats including spectrum trace data, spectrograms, tables and plots. Real-time spectrum measurements can be accessed from anywhere in the network where multiple monitors are deployed.
The Vision Monitor application is fully automated. Measurements can be captured and periodically uploaded to a database for further processing. Depending on need and storage capacity, users can store spectrum history over many months or years. Typically in a system with 1,000 probes with each probe uploading spectrum data every 15 minutes, a 30 day spectral history would require about 1 TB of storage capacity.
